I was set up on date with this guy, Bo, we went out on 3 dates. I got a little plastered on the third date - we had a sleep over. All fine and dandy...had a feeling basically it was over. But i was still nice (since a friend set me up) wrote him a few emails he wrote back...
One Sunday night, I get this detailed email that says .... (still locating the note), but basically breaking up with me! I didn't know a break up was required after 3 dates. Did you?? Anywho, I see him out on Saturday night...he marches over says the hellos - shooting the shit - and then we are getting ready to leave and asks one of my friends if it would be okay to contact me...
Didn't he write me a break up note? I am confused? Apparently I deserve better then him and he's trying to come back for me?

Step 2...The Search Begins...
So just getting out of relationship and burying my sorrows in jdate. Sort of fun?! Anyway so I think I am pretty open minded...I look at pictures - key for me is height. I obviously take in a count their occupation and again looks. I am not shy so I email...
I do not play games so don't accept IM's from not eligible bachelors...
I email anyone that is perfect candidate. My email is pretty short i cut right to the point. Isn't the point to get drinks and see if there is a match?? I don't believe in casual dating-overrated. COME ONE!!! Cocktails and sex? Nah. Well not on the first date. HA.
Anywho, the emails and ims start and the matchmaking begins...

Step 1...
Step 1: Profile Set up
Setting up your profile is a little obsurd - there are a a million of questions and then an essay...
Let's be honest a the men are the site are only looking at 2 things possibly 3...
1. Looks (most important)
2. Body type (i think they try to look at your collar bones in the picture to see how slender you are) but that is an option
3. Height: but in this time of age, i don't think it matters...
When push comes to shove-#1 is looks. I do the same thing when looking for men so i get it!

The Inside Scoop - The Beginnings.
So this blog thing should be interesting...I tried writing a book in college and then my computer crashed so it was a lost cause. Anyway, I thought I should start getting back in the writing circle and share some stories from my life. SO in April 2009, I met this guy, Alex, who i was dating for about 2.5 years. It was an up and down relationship...we had our highs and lows. We did love each other but it was not meant to be....so we moved on and i have entered the world of Digital Dating...jdate!
Please note, writing is not one of my strong skills...I write as I speak...so grammer will not be a major player in thie blog. Just go with it :)
